　坂井田功名誉教授時代から、高度門脈圧亢進症を伴う非代償性肝硬変の“Point of No Return”を探求すべく臨床研究を続けて参りました。
　2019年J Gastroenterol Hepatol誌(J Gastroenterol Hepatol. 2019;34:215-23.)に、BRTOのPrognostic Predictorとして「Liver stiffness<21.6kPa」を報告いたしましたが、その後の追試研究の結果「Liver stiffness<28.1kPaかつINR≥1.06」を見出し、
この度J Gastroenterol誌(J Gastroenterol. 2022 Dec 30. doi: 10.1007/s00535-022-01947-8.)から大変喜ばしいnewsを受けるに至りました。
　本研究成果は、有効性と安全性の両面からBRTOの適応拡大に繋がるものと確信しております。11/15 submission→12/22 accept→12/30 online publicationと、滑り込みで2022年内に仕上げることが出来てホッとしています。
　先日沖田極名誉教授から「IF>5であれば、許してやろう！」と相変わらず厳しくも温かいお言葉を頂戴しましたが、2023年も実臨床に還元できる“生きた”Clinical Studyを心掛けて精進いたします。
